The Dow home was completed in 2009.  Designed by Ron Meaux, AIA, Ukiah, CA. This is a PISÉ home designed with a Spanish / California style. PISÉ is particularly well suited to this hill top site with an unobstructed southern exposure which allows the thick masonry walls to absorb heat during the winter days and to distribute it to the interior at night. The roof is clay tile and the interior is all exposed beam ceilings with hand hewn timbers.
